STRATEGY

Strategy would be plotting about how to obtain Universal Healthcare, noting barriers that may stand in the way as well as some opportunities that may present themselves as beneficial to our cause.

OUR STRATEGY FOR UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE GIVEN THE LIMITS AND OPPORTUNITIES OF THE US GOVERNMENT SYSTEM

There is no government without the people, and any government thatfalls out of step with their people is bound to be topped eventually. Because of this, I would target the hearts of the people who would stand to gain from Universal Healthcare, most specifically the younger folks (likely through social media.) As we rally more like minded people, we seek out and support representives and hand-written letters in hope that they consider our proposals and are able to formulate it into an efficient way for fellow congressman. The reason why we focus on congress is because Congress writes the laws and overpowers the other branches of government so long as they are a unit. Our campaign will always be morally superior because our campaign is running on social welfare policy, as we just want to secure the basic necessities for the underpriveleged. To argue against that would be arguing against the uplifting of the disenfranchised and the like.

HOW UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE WILL BENEFIT US

Since Moving towards Universal Healthcare began in 2000, we’ve provided our services to a variety of businesses. On every project we undertake, our most important objective is to relate with clients and understand their core necessities and goals. Below are some examples of the work we’ve done - take a look, and get in touch to learn more.

doing work together

If everyone had guaranteed healthcare access, we could then stop punishing the poor for being poor. Also, healthy, happy citizens make for healthy, competent workers, which would benefit businesses and society overall.

Checking Blood Pressure

With people no longer fearing the check that comes with hospital or clinic visits, people would be more willing to attend checkups and hospital visits, allowing physicians to start catching ailments before they start turning into something serious

THE FACTORS THAT MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR UNIVESAL HEALTHCARE TO BE IMPLEMENTED

The following factors both play a large role in forward movement towards legislation that will pass for laws that will usher in Universal Healthcare. The reason that I posed both of these factors as detrimental is because them not pulling together in their own respective collectives leads to just unremarkable drifting. The thing with these factors is that they are a double-edged sword, meaning that even though they are generally what is slowing down forward progress, if we used the factors to our advantage we could cover serious ground.

CONGRESS

Lack of cohesion strips it of its ability to make significant movement

When Congress refuses to agree on a law with majority rules, the prospective bill dies on arrival (but can sill be pieced together into something that will pass). If the tug of war between different representatives continues, no monumental progress towards legislation is made. This is why I suggested that congress not pulling together as a collective (for the most part) can be observed as unremarkable drifting. Each side looking out for themselves allows for fragments of laws that should have been passed together not together because some group had a certain problem with it

POLITICAL PARTICIPATION

(or lack thereof)

In short, the younger generations dwarfs the older generations in attendance at the polls, where attendance actually matters. The younger folks are generally the ones that need their voice heard in politics considering that they are inheriting undersirable living conditions (ex: low wage, climate change, etc). The same goes for the poor, except they usually aren't granted the luxary of taking time off or much reflection or research because they have to work or starve. The poor are underrepresented at the polls and the rich are ever present, even to the point of funding campaigns that align with their interest.
