America is among the wealthiest nations, hailing as one of the 8 superpowers of the world. We have the largest economy, we have one of the larger populations, and we are one of the most globally influential. Despite all of these accomplishments, we are lagging behind every other developed nation in regards to quality of healthcare system, which is ranked according to a composition of outcomes, quality of care, and access to services.
IDEAL SOLUTION
Canada
One of the problems with our present healthcare system is that we have too many people who cannot afford to pay for treatments but make above the amount of income required to qualify for medicaid. The Canadians do not have that problem, because every citizen is covered under their public insurance (although they can opt for private insurance there). Our proposal would resemble Canada in the way that all US citizens (maybe residents) can receive acess to care. In our proposal, we would reject private insurance completely, focusing all of the hospital adminisrative efforts into only what is neccessary
